Coasterners Health Access Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit advancing health equity, digital inclusion, health education, applied research, and community empowerment — through community-based programs, knowledge sharing, data innovation, and collaborative partnerships.
Coasterners Health Access Foundation Inc. (US) and Coasterners Health Access Foundation (Canada) are separate legal entities that share this site and a common mission.
We exist to improve equitable access to health and social services through education, navigation, community programs, applied research, data innovation, workforce capacity building, and knowledge mobilization. We work to identify and address the barriers that prevent individuals, families, and communities from accessing the care, information, and support they need.
We advance digital health literacy, health informatics STEM education, care coordination, and evidence-informed solutions that strengthen health systems and improve community wellbeing. Through collaboration with community, academic, and health-sector partners, we generate, share, and apply knowledge that promotes health equity, inclusion, and lasting positive change.
Too many people experience gaps in health and social service systems — not because support doesn't exist, but because accessing it can be complicated, fragmented, and inequitable. Limited digital literacy, complex navigation pathways, care coordination gaps, and systemic barriers can prevent individuals and families from receiving timely information, care, and support.
Coasterners Health Access Foundation was created to close those gaps. We bring together education, research, data innovation, workforce capacity building, and community action to help ensure that knowledge reaches people, systems improve, and communities are better equipped to access the support they need.
